The room had beautiful views, with a nice terrace and an infrared area to relax. The bed was very comfortable. The food in the restaurant was also nice and the breakfast abundant.

The location was amazing - like a fairly tale! Charming church bells. Music in the square. Restaurants a plenty right outside the door. Parking was helpful. We loved the room's querkiness. We loved meeting the owners doggies!

I’ve booked the hotel by chance and it was a perfect choice. The hotel is located in the quiet place in the mountains valley not far from Hintersee and other lakes of the region. The room was bright, clean and comfortable. Also it had a balcony with table and chairs good enough to spend a cosy evening in the fresh air and perfect Mountain View. The hotel is managed by the family. The breakfast is was good. The owners are friendly and quite helpful and made our living as good as at home. Highly recommended!
A bit hidden from village Hintersee but very nice and convenient location (small path through a nearby forest to both Hintersee village as well as lake. A plenty of trails around for walking, MTB or just running. Also very easy to visit other leakes in the area (we did it both by car or across mountains on MTB).

The staff and facilities were great. The chalet was absolutely wonderful for our family. Attention detail and the highest comfort was attained by DAS Hintersee. Breakfast was plentiful and a pleasure to dine on the terrace. Dinner from the menu card was exceptional. We will return… a wonderful getaway, without all the tourists around the big lakes in the area.
We made reservation. The hotel confirmed the reservation but when we arrived nobody was waiting for us. Later the hotel send us mail that there was a mistake and they don’t have room for us. The hotel charged the payment and we have trouble getting it back
Don’t book the place
Location is perfect for hiking and easy calm relax. The hotel is very center of small town, tiny grocery shop, local restaurant, information center is 200m away. 30min driving to Salzburg. Few hiking paths are walking distance. Spacious rooms.
