Except for the noted moments, it is ideal, even if you are without a car: a taxi to the center of Gmunden costs 15 euros, you need to order a taxi either the day before or 1 hour before the planned departure.

gorgeous place, magnificent view from the window, silence, beautiful alpine lake, helpful and kind staff, in the morning the hotel owner at breakfast asks each guest how the last day went, the gourmet restaurant is the best on the coast. We highly recommend.
