Landhaus Holzereck was immaculately kept but very comfortable. The location was central to the adorable little town and the views were spectacular! We walked to dinner with my handicapped father in tow. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back to Ehrwald as soon as possible!

Ehrwal is a nice village at the foot of Zugspitze. There are a few hotels and restaurants as well as winter sport facilities. We were there in September and the meadows were green and the views nice after disipation of the morning fog.

Lovely village in Austria.
Lovely village in Austria. Lots of walking options, from easy to strenous, with stunning scenery of lakes and mountains. Cable cars giving easy access to the mountains. A Guest Card, given to tourists staying in local properties, allows use of regular local buses, which link the Cable Car stations. Also, a Z Card can be purchased to allow daily use of cable cars, including one trip to the Zugspitze. Some lovely restaurants in the village, and 2 supermarkets. Overall, a great holiday location.

A dream town for travellers searching for skiing, relaxing or just wandering along the country side. Amazing views, cozy town, great location very close to main hotspots in Tirol.
Despite being small, it has everything needed for a day to day life: supermarkets, pharmacy, indorr swimming pool and spa, cable cars to the Zugspitze summit reachable on foot, a few restaurants...

Lovely and beautiful place, but really bad transport system there. Maybe we were unlucky to had such negative experience with cancelled train and buses 10.06.22, so we had to take a taxi to Oberau to get a train to Munich.

Lovely village, very kind people, nice selection of hotels and restaurants around. Also some good hiking shops with reasonable prices. Very nice views around. There was also a nice free concert at the square on a Monday. Looks like there is a lively community of Austrians here!
We stayed at Der Grune Baum Mountain and Boutique hotel and ate at Restaurant Al Castagno. They were both excellent, couldn’t recommend them enough!
Everything about Haus Brabant exceeded our expectations. We reserved a room initially, but were offered an apartment once we arrived for a small fee. It was such a nice, comfortable room that appeared to be recently renovated. We had an amazing view of the Zugspitze from our balcony. Helmut and Leonie went above and beyond for us. We enjoyed our time there and are already trying to find time to come back!
The owners of this hotel, are very hospitable and really pay attention to detail and ensuring a good stay. Breakfast was great too. I was given excellent hiking recommendations, all easily accessible from the hotel. The hotel is in great condition and super clean. Although it's on the main road, it was very quiet at night and in the early morning.
everything was perfect, cleanness very good, apartment size was great, the kitchen equipped with everything, quite and safe area, the staff on the front desk was very friendly and professional , the hotel is well organized for kids from the restaurant till the huge playground and water park and many other activities , your kids will love it.
The location is superb with stunning views all around. Ehrwald itself is a wonderful town to base one’s vacation and the staff were extremely helpful. Having a kitchen and balcony were fantastic as we could take advantage of the wonderful bread service through the property as well as utilize the grocery store within walking distance.
The room was exceptional clean especially the bathroom! Had a good size and a beautiful view to the mountains!
The breakfast was vegetarian which I think is great and local products are used.
Parking is included and, on the opposite, of the hotel. Drive to Zugspitze and Eibsee is around 30min.

We loved the view from the balcony! The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals and the apartment was cozy and super clean. It was a great location to have as base for daily hikes. Staying in Zugspitzhotel Diana Thörle was probably my favorite part of our holiday. Would love to come back in winter one day!
Beautiful location, great views of the mountains, and near the Zugspitze lift. Easy access to Garmisch and surrounding towns in Austria as well. Heidi the host was super sweet! The apartment was small but very nicely decorated and so clean. Check in and access was very convenient.
Gorgeous hotel and grounds at the foot of the Zugspitze. Staff were exceptional - kind, friendly, helpful and always on the lookout to make sure we were having a good time. Great recommendations for enjoying the surrounding area. Meals were fabulous - great local selections.
I really liked the hotel, it is nice, comfortable and relaxing. The breakfast was good, you have all the necessary food. The room is very quiet and the landscape is very beautiful. The reception staff very friendly. It really was a very good stay.
100% recommended. Very nice, clean and spacious apartment, looking absolutely better in reality than in the photos. Location is perfect, calm and quietly. Only 15-20 minut walk to the center of Ehrwald. Hosts are really nice and helpful :)
