This is the most beautiful and amazing hotel I’ve ever stayed this time with my trip to Europe (Prague, Munich and Austria). “Suite with Balcony” room which has an amazing view you can see from your bed (yes! From the moment you wake up!). Breakfast is soooo good (heaps of choices and they all taste good) and dinner provided is nice as well. You’ll never feel starving because the food provided are good in quality and quantity. The reading spaces are fab! Originally was thinking about going to visit Hallstatt but then everything at the hotel is more attractive to me. This is a place I’ll recommend for all of my friend.

A beautiful small lake nestled in the mountains. The area offers many activities and also the possibility to just chill and relax. It is a great place to spend your whole vacation or to use as your launching pad to enjoy the Salzkammergut area.
Newly renovated apartment, well-equipped kitchen and bathroom, far above-standard furniture, wonderfully cozy sunroom. Although hosts weren't there, it was super easy to communicate and they proactively sought contact. Check-in and check-out easy as a breeze. They even provided a small "welcome" breakfast for the first day. The location in the center of Altaussee mere steps from the lake can't be beat, either. Highly recommended.
It's a cosy hotel in the middle of mountains with beautiful sights from windows. The personnel are friendly, they can speak English.
The hotel has provided us with a big room instead of a booked small one and the room was really big, comfortable and clean.
Also we have had a delicious breakfast with a lot of different products.
Despite the fact that we have only spent a night in the hotel we really liked being there.
Hotel has traditional Austrian ambiance and heritage. It is perfectly located with its own private access to the wonderful, clean lake. The buffet breakfasts offer many choices of fresh, traditional cuisine. The rooms and bathrooms are very clean and many have view to the lake or a quiet pretty street. The staff is very profesional and friendly. We will certainly be coming back and highly recommending this hotel.
The apartment is walking distance from everywhere in the town, it is a very good location! The apartmant itself is quiet and also very nice, has everything which is needed. The town, Altaussee is an excellent location for relaxing, we swimmed in the cristal clean lake, we did SUP and a lot of biking around. Our host was very supportive and very kind!!! We will definitely come back!!!
Beautiful, large and clean apartment with balcony and a wonderful view of the mountains. Fully equipped (dishwasher, washing machine, coffee machine, etc.), 2 bedrooms with towel, 2 bathrooms. Altausseer see is a 10-minute walk away. Quiet and clean environment. Parking options in the garage or under the roof. (photos taken at the end of the stay)
Very nice place. One could feel hundreds years of history of the rural house but using a comfort of 21st century. And if you like horses, dogs or cats, you will find new friends here. And everything is close - Loser skiing slopes as well as Altaussee lake and village centre.

Amazing place, beautifully located with a view on the mountains on both side of the house (on Loser from our balcony). Some 10 minutes walk to stunning Altausseer See, close to a shop and a great restaurant. Perfect!
I booked this hotel 3 weeks earlier.
Just before the arrival day I got a call from hotel staff and they said that they will be closed on my arrival day and they can arrange a booking at another hotel 10km away.

Perfect quiet place close to a ski slope. Good for sport families, MTB bikers, hikers, everyone who leves nature and hills. Nearby Altaussee is a freezy lake, but it's a must to try.
