Located in Mödling, 11 km from Spa Garden, Hotel Babenbergerhof provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace.
The hotel was super clean. It is somewhat austere and very basically furnished to our mind though their blurb states all the furniture was made to their requirements. Bit like a health resort and they do offer various services along those lines, which we did not try. Was comfortable enough. Hosts were very nice. Breakfast was really good and the young woman who looked after the breakfast room was lovely and made very nice scrambled eggs! Breakfast offered a very good variety. Their wine was very nice. We didn't try the restaurant.
Very friendly and helpful service: I had forgotten my mobile phone charger at home and arrived late at the hotel. When I called to check for the late check-in I mentioned this. Promptly I was offered a charger that indeed hat been put into my room, once I arrived.
Very good food and atmosphere at the restaurant – and an excellent grape juice. Very helpful support to get a package of that to the airport.
We only stayed one night, passing through, but we still felt very comfortable. It is a small hotel in a quiet and pleasant environment. It also has a restaurant. The room was very friendly, spacious, with quality furniture, lovingly decorated. Kind and friendly staff. Varied and good breakfast. Parking. We visited (by car) the beautiful Laxenburg park, not far away.
We enjoyed the great breakfast with extraordinary fresh and delicious bread (they also provide gluten-free bread every day), friendly staff and quick check-in, enough car park in front of the hotel, comfortable beds and clean room, only 5 minutes walk to local train station (hourly connection by local train to Vienna main train station)
Everything was perfect: large room with a desk, sofa, coffee table, nice view from the room, good complementary breakfast, convenient parking in front of the hotel, very nice garden with a restaurant, and a friendly host.
