The apartment was very clean and beautifully decorated. It was home from home. Beautiful location. Very easy check in. Highly recommended

This was our second stay here and I just love the staff. They are a real asset to the hotel. There was a large walk in shower in the bathroom, which was great. We stayed for 4 nights, plenty of choice at breakfast and we had a meal in the bar one evening and we both enjoyed it.
For those on a budget, these cheap and cheerful hotels still have a lot to offer, with most offering WiFi and convenient locations. Popular with backpackers, many properties can be found in central locations and include comfortable rooms with private or shared bathrooms. You’ll also find a number of options which feature a 24-hour front desk and luggage storage.
It was very clean, beautiful, had all the amenities, close to country pub/ restaurants. Also, Lauren is an amazing host and very thoughtful to have organised the house so well. All the 4 of us had a great stay.
The location was perfect for our needs . The house was clean and very comfy, had everything you need for a break, close to local shops quiet area. Good nights sleep no complaints at all.
The purpose of our family trip to the lake district was to summit Scafell Pike which we did successfully. On arrival to the cottage it was very clean and tastefully decorated. The cottage was an approximate 45 mins from Scafell, ideal location for us. The cottage is positioned in an old mining village built at the turn of the century. The cottage is walking distance from a reasonably sized co-op and whilst we didn't visit them, numerous take away restaurants close by. If my memory serves correctly, 9 within a minutes walk and 1 pub.
