Looking for a cabin?

For the active travellers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and self-catered, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found elsewhere in the world. Characterised by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing holidays.

Location is great for being close to Times Square, Radio City Music Hall, Rockefeller Center, Bryant Park. Close to several subway lines - very convenient. It felt a bit like stepping back in time - all the old trappings of the building are still in place (old mail chutes, original woodwork, movie-worthy square stairways). I liked having a tiny kitchen. Linens were clean and crisp, beds were comfortable.

The location of the hotel was great, it was easy to get to and from the subway and was a perfect hub to explore the Chelsea, Greenwich Village and Soho areas. Staff were friendly. The cabin room had character, was clean and had everything that we needed however, it was very small. This was bearable for us as we were out all day so only really needed the room to sleep.

Very central location - we needed to be close to the Palladium so very handy, and close to subway/ bus networks. Bed was comfortable. Good shower & clean bathroom. Staff friendly & helpful. Good double glazing - with windows open the sound of sirens and horns very loud, but almost quiet with windows shut.

Our room had a balcony and was located on one of the top floors. It was a really nice room with a very comfortable bed and sheets. The couch and couch table were right in front of the bed but overall it was a nice size room (NY standards). The only thing that could be better is if they put a light inside the toilet cabin. The toilet is inside a bathroom that is a part of the room with only glass sliding doors so if you turn the light on in the bathroom it's bright everywhere.

This once fashionable hotel is still recovering from the pandemic - the bar and restaurant were both shut making the lobby seem rather bleak . However, the staff were excellent and we had a very good sized room, albeit that there was no room service available. Bed was super comfy with great pillows and a large well appointed bathroom.

Beautiful decorated and recently renovated bedrooms (in 2020), that look exactly like on the pictures. Comfortable big bed, nice bathroom, seating area with a nice chair and desk. The room was huge and we could comfortably open our suitcases (cabin size). Very clean and bright (big windows).

It is a perfect hotel for a low budget trip. The room is small but it has everything you need. It is clean and the shared bathroom is an individual cabine, fully equipped and also very clean. Staff is very helpful and, even though there is no elevator, they help you with the luggage.
