Looking for a cabin?

For the active travellers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and self-catered, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found elsewhere in the world. Characterised by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing holidays.

We loved our experience staying at the Crowne Plaza. The staff were amazing & went out of their way to be helpful. The breakfast buffet was delicious. The swimming pool was divine. We appreciated that the hotel offered complimentary shuttle services to main attractions in Muscat. The location was perfect and had beautiful views from the cliffttop. We would stay again!

The staff was helpful and super friendly. The pool is well maintained and there's badminton, table tennis, foosball, and tennis. The breakfast is worth the money. The location is great for beachgoers. They offer free shuttle bus "tours" to the grand mosque and mall in the mornings and the souk in the evening. Beautiful sunsets from the beach, poolside, and restaurant balconies!!

Very helpful staff, willing to accommodate all our requests like late arrival, late checkout, and storing our suitcase overnight. Great beach and ocean views from the room. There's a free shuttle bus to/from the Grand Mosque and a mall in the morning, and to/from Muttrah Souq in the evening, which is nice since taxis are so expensive. Good variety of restaurants on site (helpful since there aren't many within walking distance). The restaurant remained open for lunch during Ramadan.

Bath room is in very bad shape..no shower cabin. All water floods in bath room. Sink and taps shaking. Unfinished / poor quality tiles with white cement put hapazord way . Low quality furniture like camps. It's not 4 star as listed. I will give 2 star .

A spacious, well-equipped room with a bath as an unexpected bonus. It was good to have a choice of restaurants (Omani/Persian, Gastro-pub, Italian, Buffet restaurant, Edge) so we could change where to eat during our stay without leaving the hotel. The advertised shuttle service has a very limited schedule but the 24/7 taxi service with cars immediately available more than made up for this. Staff were helpful, friendly and efficient.

Hotel was really nice but very isolated. Staff very friendly. Breakfast was fantastic value for money. Taxi to and from airport very expensive and should take card. Hotel should offer shuttle service to airport maybe 1 per hour

The setting is just blissful. We stayed the first two nights of our holiday in Oman and our last night. The private beach is wonderful. We loved the beach huts and lying on the veranda listening to the sea. The staff at the restaurant were fabulous: friendly and thoughtful, especially Michelle, who always remembered that my daughter didn’t want aubergine in the chicken panini.
