Such a lovely cottage. Very cozy and comfortable. Elsie and Andre are such wonderful hosts. The continental breakfast was perfect and the marmalade was delicious. We will definitely be back to stay.

Looking for a cabin?

For the active travellers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and self-catered, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found elsewhere in the world. Characterised by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing holidays.

We stayed in an ensuite cabin, it was clean and had everything we needed, but it was very old and in need of some upgrading! Staff and manager very helpful in upgrading our original booking from small cabin to ensuite cabin.

Chalet offered everything you'd need from an accomodation, cooking, cleaning and sleeping. Multiple lounge areas, one with a stunning view, multiple bathrooms and shower spaces, free parking outside the building (first come first served) and not a long walk away from tbe hustle of Dunedin.

Really, the one man staff excelled himself! We were in a private room, my wife asked him for a bed side small cabinet and it was delivered. We asked for our clothes to be washed and dried, a bit late in his working day as he was about to go home. He sorted it! We just moved the clothes from the washing machine to the tumble dryer! A great result!

Bathrooms were clean, I didn't use the kitchen but it looked clean and tidy. The fireplace in the common room was a nice touch. The cabin was basic but everything I needed for a night.

Everything! This is a historic old building, stables?, that has been beautifully restored into quaint rustic accommodations. Lots of neat features, exposed bricks, wooden rafters, shutters on the windows.
