The location is phenomenal. Below the mountains. It's close to some amazing restaurants (Hotel Serdar, Nacionalni restoran Kozak). National park Biogradska gora is very close by car. The place was silent, clean, well equipped; the staff welcoming and approachable. We definitely recommend for a nice mountain getaway.

Rest far from civilization and people. Everything is very clean and comfortable. There is electricity, wi-fi, hot water, clean toilet and shower. Hospitable hosts and delicious homemade food. Please note that you can get there either by SUV on a not very good road or on foot. If you walk from the parking lot on the lake, then the walk is about 7 km with an ascent of about 700m. We walked with an 8 year old child for about 3 hours, but it's worth it.

Cute, comfortable cabin in the nicest nature setting. Quite, away from it all, yet super close, too. Andrea (the host) is amazing. She was a quick and good communicator, was helpful in helping me make my way to the cabin in the dark, have me great ideas for restaurants, and had a for going in the wood stove so I arrived to a toasty cozy room upon arrival. And she was super helpful even AFTER I left with finding things. And, the parking was right in front (sometimes hard to find traveling around Albania).

The view was amazing! The cabin is beautiful with a very well stocked kitchen, great beds, the sauna is amazing and easy to use, and the outside facilities were great too! My kids loved the outside play area, the porch and the chairs were really comfortable. And the fire pit was great! We also loved how close it was to the national park and the little markets, while still feeling private and away from the main parts of towns and busy roads.

We stayed here for 3 nights in August. The cottage is nestled in the pristine valley of the Tara river with spectacular views, wildlife and access to the river for swimming.and canoeing. The owner Zarko, was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. He helped us to book a white water rafting trip which was an unforgettable experience on such a beautiful stretch of river. He can also help arrange fly fishing and other activities and was close at hand if we needed any help/advice. We stayed here with our 2 boys ages 8 and 10. They both loved the experience. The wooden suspension bridge over the river to get to the property was very exciting! The house is Cosy, clean and well equipped if you want to prepare food at home. There is also a barbecue you can use. The location is quite remote so don’t expect to walk to a restaurant, but that is the beauty of it. Plus there is a town with restaurants, supermarkets etc only 15-20 mins drive away. The nature is beautiful with many rare plants and animals. This is an unspoiled gem of a place that lovers of nature and the countryside cannot fail to love. We definitely hope to return.
