Looking for a cabin?

For the active travellers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and self-catered, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found elsewhere in the world. Characterised by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing holidays.

Absolutely loved everything. The cabin is in an absolutely beautiful place. The view is just magical. And we were so lucky with the weather so we could see everything 😃 the bed was the most comfortable I have ever slept. And the blanket with the pillows we felt like we are in a comfy cloud 🤭 And waking up the next morning...was just WOW 😌 Thank you Catriona for the warm welcome we definitely will return 💖

The cabin itself has everything you need. It’s warm and cosy, comfy bed, great shower, you couldn’t ask for more. The views over the estuary are stunning particularly at dawn and dusk. Very private and so peaceful - you mostly only hear pheasants and sheep around! I woke to hare on my doorstep both mornings I stayed, something that dreams are made of. It was very difficult to leave.

Warmth and efficiency of staff, thoughtfulness of staff - for instance offering a complementary return shuttle to town for a booked dinner. Facilities are fabulous, room massively spacious and quiet, location is stunning (waterfall, expansive grounds), plenty of rooms to relax and read by the fireplace.

Excellent location with nice views around the surrounding landscape. Sheep are nearby, but you won't hear them in the cabin. A small breakfast was prepared for us in the cabin. We were able to use the fireplace outdoors with the provided materials. Definitely worth a stay; you will be relaxed and out in the quiet countryside, but still only a short drive away from the nearest city.
