Looking for a cabin?

For the active travellers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and self-catered, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found elsewhere in the world. Characterised by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing holidays.

The location was just perfect ! The views were absolutely stunning! We loved the house which was colourful , cosy, lovely & clean. It was lovely to see the history of the house knowing it had been a family home for years. The breakfast was amazing, so much choice & we loved it was a communal area. We loved the bee huts , so much craftsmanship! Our favourite thing of all we’re the beautiful lambs. We helped out with the feeds and the son & father of the house welcomed us & we’re helpful & friendly !

Great stay! The room (we were in the chalet) was simply amazing, but actually everything there was so beautiful. The place has such a nice view and is perfectly located (you can get to the city by a really short walk). Great breakfast, kind and friendly staff, and those two super cute dogs were a plus! We will def visit the place again!

The hotel exceeded our expectations. We weren't sure what to expect from it's unassuming presence and age but we were absolutely delighted by its charm and updated interior. Many old world touches including sitting rooms, leather couches, bookshelves, handsome bar, fireplaces, sun room...our own room had a sitting nook with a semi canopy over bed...so comfortable and charming, the kind of room you want to hang out in. We hated to leave.

Location & breakfast were great. Room itself was good but it was at the back of the hotel & the noise of the fans could be heard until they shut off at about 1am. Bed was comfy but pillows not great.
