What a find! Such a perfect cabin in a perfect location! It had all we needed for a very comfortable two night stay. We were especially impressed with the delicious home made bread ( which was still warm on our arrival ) and the eggs, butter, milk and beers in the fridge! We will definitely be returning.

Looking for a cabin?

For the active travellers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and self-catered, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found elsewhere in the world. Characterised by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing holidays.

The chalet was well located near the shops and swimming pool, The pool was great to swim in and they limited the number of people at a time, so not too crowded. The site was walking distance from the sea. Also the new forest park is near by with lots of things to do. The chalet was clean and tidy and had tv and wifi.

The hosts were fantastic and welcoming. Easy to contact for help lighting the hot tub and with recommendations for things to do and places to eat. The shepherds hut was very cute and cosy. Had everything we could need for the weekend. Fully stocked tea and coffee and even had milk in the fridge for us.

The hot tub was great and it was actually secluded and quiet. The hut was very comfortable, nice bedding, lots of cushions. The outdoor seating was good and it was great to cook outside and have a fire in the evenings.

I liked having a patio on my door, as someone who gets cabin fever easily, suited me down to the ground. Just want to make a special for John who runs the Tudor bar, he’s a decent bloke and a good laugh and also good at his job.

The setting is amazing, and the shepards hut has everything you could possibly want and need. The woodburning hot tub was amazing and the best way to relax.

beautiful, unique imposing property. the newer areas such as indoor spa complex and suites have been very sympathetically added. the outdoor pool area is very pleasant, it was a shame the pool food/drink hut only remained open for half an hour max on Sunday morning.
