Get up close with wildlife and nature at Leopard Trails Wilpattu, a campsite with tents offering a private bathroom. Breakfast is included for guests during their stay and airport shuttle services can be arranged at a surcharge.

Leopard Trails was one of the highlight stays of our Sri Lankan vacation. Its glamping with a capital G, and very good value for money. Just a few km from the Wilpattu park entrance, we went on 2 safaris and of course saw Leopard, Sloth bear, elephant and a bunch of other species. But TBH it was the stay in this luxury camp, with its spacious safari style tent rooms, its wonderful staff and food that was amongst the best we had in Sri Lanka. I 100% recommend staying here.

Offering barbecue, Wild Wadi Wilpattu is set 2.5 km from the Wilpattu National Park (second entrance) and 13 km from Kalpitiya. Free private parking is available on site.

The accommodation is air conditioned and is fitted with a seating and dining area. There is a private bathroom with a shower and free toiletries in each unit.

We had a very nice stay at wild Wadi Wilpattu, Manori helped us to book transport for a good price, she organize a safari in wilpattu, even though the guide wasn't very informative, we had a nice day in the park, and saw a lot of birds and animals. We had a evening boat trip in the lagoon, saw 2 old baobab trees, but only few birds, but a nice sundown. Manori drove us to our next destination, we had nuts, curd and juice from king coconut on the way, and she was very nice and informative, the price for the tour was very fair.

We spent one night at the camp for a safari and the place was really nice. The food was excellent and the athmosphere around the fire at night was unforgetable. Staff is lovely.

The staff at Mahoora - Wilpattu were great -- very customer-service oriented. Room was basic and clean and for a tent was definitely glamping! Dinner was superb. Guides were excellent and safaris great, even if we didn't see a leopard or a bear. Night walk was outstanding.

The evening dinner was a great experience under the stars with excellent waiters serving a nice dinner . Seeing the Wildlife on safari was a great experience and the wide range of birds , butterflies and some rare animals like the Loris. We also enjoyed the traditional cookery demonstration. Camping was much more comfortable than usual and we didn’t have any issues with mosquitoes. Organisation was great and catered well for vegans in our family.

It is very close to the entrance to the park. Very welcoming and kind hosts, couldn't do more to make our stay just perfect. We went on a safari with Susil, we did see plenty of animals including a leopard. Susil is brilliant at spotting willd life when orhers just drive by. The room was small but very clean and comfortable with a mosquito net and air conditioning. Their little daughter Divina is just beautiful.

It is close to Wilpattu NP so that's handy. It was very clean and the housekeeper and cook Johan did everything to make you comfortable. He is very nice. 1 or 2 nights there is more than enough because there is nothing to do.

Roshan, his family and staff were exceptional hosts. Facility is very clean, safe and beautiful during day and night time. It’s located next to the Nationalpark and middle in the nature. Breakfast and Dinner is a buffet of local, freshly made food. Roshan is fluent in English and helped us booking the Safari (day before) and tuktuk to the next city.

We had me of the best sleeps there during our whole stay in Sri Lanka! They have really comfy glamping tents and huge outdoor bathrooms. The safari was THE BEST and one of the biologists who runs the lodge accompanied us and told us so much about the wildlife.

Location was fantastic, staff were extremely helpful and very much there for us whenever we needed. The camp is very well set up with little areas for everything (check-in/reception, dinning, chillout space with couches etc and huge double tents Accom are all in their own little zones). If you like the idea of the camping vibe but still like a the pampering then I definitely recommend. It is for sure five star glamping due to the service provided
