We just left this beautiful camp and can’t say enough wonderful things about the property, location or most especially the exceptional service. Forget your standard hotel room, the whole setup is so charming, cosy and welcoming. The pool, the garden and the main guests area are beautiful. We met the hosts Thierry and Rahma and they are as nice as the place they built. Imad their manager is very friendly, professional and literally always there to help and fulfill all your requests. Get away from the craziness of tourists crowd and indulge yourself with a stay to remember!!
Agafay
Featuring pool views, Emeraude Camp Agafay offers accommodation with patio, around 36 km from Menara Gardens. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. The luxury tent has family rooms. A fantastic experience in Agafay - the property was just as described, and we enjoyed our stay here to the fullest! You can book a camel or quad ride at the property. The food they serve is traditional Moroccan, they do not have alcohol (although we did not miss it at all). If you're staying in autumn or winter at night it can get chilly, so do not forget to take warmer clothes for sleeping, if needed (there is a fireplace in each dome, yet it still can get chilly before morning). Would def come back!

Marrakech
Featuring mountain views, agafay valley offers accommodation with terrace, around 32 km from Menara Gardens. With pool views, this accommodation features a balcony. The luxury tent provides rooms with air conditioning, free private parking and free WiFi. From the start we were greeted by the amazing Sayed and the Agafay team who warmly welcomed us to the property and offered us some delicious mint tea and cookies while our room was being prepared. The location is excellent with beautiful views of the mountains and surrounding valley. The pool is massive and incredibly refreshing to relax at during the hot days. There is a full bar available if you want wine or cocktails and they are happy to serve you by the pool while you relax. The rooms are spacious and well laid out with big windows that overlook the mountains. The beds are comfortable as well. We had dinner on the property and it was phenomenal! There were even local singers that came in to do traditional Moroccan music with dinner. Breakfast was included with the stay and was also excellent (the coffee especially!). Bottom line, I would not hesitate to return to the property and stay again!

Marrakech
At the luxury tent, the family-friendly restaurant is open for dinner, lunch and brunch and serves African cuisine.
Guests at Camp Cameleon will be able to enjoy activities in and around Marrakech, like walking tours. The luxury tent has a picnic area where you can spend a day out in the open.
Lovely, quiet, remote glamping spot, tucked just beneath the rolling rocky dune crests, with High Atlas mountain views, and dark, starry night skies.
The tents have individual showers and camp commodes, solar-powered lights, and candles (and working smoke detectors), fairly comfy beds, with big, fluffy duvets and extra blankets available to keep out the December chill. A supplementary gas heater is available to warm up your large-hotel-room-sized zippered tent on request.
Food is served on picnic-style tables in a turn-of-the-century-decorated large tent, open on one side to the desert wadi and the lightening, or darkening sky.
The team of Zakaria, Jawad, and Ibrahim provides hearty, simple meals from chicken tagine to shakshouka, and even provid wonderful gluten-free food (running into Marrakech to shop for corn meal and rice etc to serve instead of bread, to accommodate the last-minute request).
The camp features numerous outdoor chatting areas - open-air living rooms to put the outside world behind you. On that note, please note that wifi service has been discontinued as of December 2022, so that guests can truly "unplug."
Camp kitten-cat Rosa provides entertainment (she followed Zakaria around the market so she got to come home to Camp Cameleon), and three camp pups keep watch for all at night.
Ask your hosts about some of the more famous visitors to the rocky Agafay desert - just nearby is the mud-walled sprawling village compound that was turned briefly into a desert Palace for Yves Saint Laurent's birthday, and Madonna marked her 60th nearby as well.
The goal of the camp, as well as to be light on the local ecology, is to give back to the local Berber community.
The land is rented from the village and the camels provided by the village as well. Your hosts can arrange you a gentle dawn or dusk camel excursion.
(As well as quad bike rides etc.

Free parking on site. Even allowed us to leave our car on site when we went on overnight desert safari.Large apartment, lots of space, everything provided. Clean, quiet. Liked that is was smoke-free.
1. The manager Aziz was pretty friendly and helpful. He helped us with maps and city information, book taxi, gave free water bottles , helped book desert safari at the last minute etc. 2. Not too fussed about money. e.g the card machine didnt seem to work when we checked in.. and I paid him cash after 2 days of check-in.
Good communication from the staff since the day of booking till we arrive at the location. All needs are provided by the staff and the place itself is more than we can imagine in a Riad. Fatah also did an excellent job of getting us a private tour for the sunset dinner experience in Agafy Desert. All the staff did an excellent job during our stay
It was a lovely oasis away from Marrakesh. Good for seeing the desert less than an hour from the city. The tents were nice, clean and the bed was super comfortable. The staff were so friendly and attentive. The food was also delicious.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We relaxed in the sun, enjoyed great meals and saw local shows and music. We even took a camel ride. It was the perfect setting to take in a sunset and a sunrise. Being in the middle of the desert, there were no city lights to impede on the start filed sky as well. While a little on the pricier side, the service, facilities and food were all second to none and worth every penny. No complaints. Would DEFINITELY recommend. Thank you very much to the whole Agafay Valley team.
After a three day trip to the desert, Riad M'boja was just the right place to relax from the bus ride, watch the sunset from their great rooftop, finish our exploration of Marrakech from their central location and do some shopping in the artesanal zone to the south. The employees were very friendly and hospitable, they also arranged for an uncomplicated and fair-priced ride to the airport. I would stay there again.
Perfect place for a honeymoon with opportunities to be alone. Beautiful sleeping under the stars, taking a bath on the veranda or going on one of the activities offered. We went on the trip to a Berber village which was amazing (slightly undersold by the resort) and a camel ride at sunset. Food was very good. When we raised anything with staff, such as rubbish we had seen, they were very proactive. They also helped us with sending a postcard.
It's a great experience to stay in the rocky desert. It was very hot weather but fortunately they have luxury air-conditioned tents and lovely swimming pools. They have a built-in bathtub on the veranda decking outside of each tent, which is fabulous for relaxing and looking at the deserts and mountains in the distance, even the sunset.
Amazing location, in the middle of a beautiful desert wilderness yet close to Marrakech. The staff, particularly Mohammed and his brother, were wonderful hosts. Incredible sunset, stargazing and sunrise. I would love to return.
Beautiful tents with incredible views hidden away in the agafay desert. Each tent has a lovely shower and en-suite facilities - authentic decor and comfortable beds. Best of all Mohammad and his team looked after us so well and the food was delicious - traditional tagine and one of the tastiest we have eaten in our trip. Get there in time for a sunset camel ride then have supper under the stars.
