For travelers who love being in nature with some added luxury. Also known as glamping, tented camps provide full or limited services, surrounded by wilderness. Typically in permanent or semi-permanent camps, these private tents/yurts are a great way to rough it and stay glamorous.
Amazing service, hospitality, location and the value for your money is excellent. I was travelling solo and was greeted with a choice of tea or coffee on my arrival. The woman who runs it seems really proud of her hotel, as she should be.
Fans in the room, clean private bathroom, mosquito net, outside terrace area and a roof where you can see an amazing sunset.
The hosts were amazing, one of the best I found!
The place was well located, clean and comfortable. WiFi reliable and rooms with mosquito net and AC were a plus! You have a kitchen with a fridge you can use and they rent scooters at a good price so you don’t have to look around for it. They also arranged us a safari and ride for Dickwella for a good price! Definitely recommend and would stay again, great value for money
The location of the hotel is amazing right on the beach, and there are some really nice restaurants nearby (special shout out to La Mer)! You can borrow surfboards free of charge, and since the sun beds are hotel guest exclusive there’s always a spot available. The room’s air conditioning was OUTSTANDING! The staff were super friendly and eager to help you plan your excursions! We might suggest that you skip the whale safari though (not arranged by the hotel, but suggested)…
We loved this property! We stayed here for our honeymoon. We loved the cabana and view from the verandah. The aircon was great and they have good mosquito nets all the way around. The breakfast was lovely and was so nice to sit outside. The pool was also nice to go for a dip and relax on the sun beds. It’s also a short walk down to the beach from the accommodation, but note it is a steep hill on the way back to the accommodation but it’s honestly not that bad,
This place far exceeded our expectations. Spacious room set in its own building separate from the main house with a verandah that looks out to the garden. Hot water, air con, fan, mosquito net. Even access to separate kitchen facilities. Everything you need. Great location only a few minutes walk from the beach but in a quiet area. And to top it off the family are so friendly too. Would not hesitate to come back.
Couldn’t ask for a better location, everyday out front turtles, free sun beds, to the right hundreds of beautiful fish. Staff were so polite, could’t do enough for you. Excellent choice of food and they had a pizza oven, we’re everyday fresh bread was prepped, inc cakes…. You could watch the young guy prepare all the dough to bake. Room nice and big, mosquito nets, clean bedding every few days and towels.
Will definitely recommend to our friends and will go back.
Super friendly host. A nice welcome king coconut. Great location close to the beach. Great breakfast, one of the best we had in Sri Lanka. Comfy bed with mosquito net. Very pleasant hot shower. Great value for money.
Amazing place! Very comfortable bed, little lovely garden, great coffee in the morning and nice breakfast. Lovely host and they let you use fridge. Fan, mosquito net, towel. Everything very clean. First really hot shower in Sri Lanca! Totally recommend this place.
Rather small room with a bed with mosquito net and a ventilator (no ac). In front of the room is a private veranda, where you eat your breakfast. You can choose between 6 (!) breakfast options. The breakfast was included and was great (best homemade roti). Beach is just across the street.
Great wifi. Super cute and helpful hosts, even though communication is difficult due to language barrier.
Great option for one night.
Comfy bed with mosquito net. Pool was great. Hot shower was also good. Breakfast was basic but lots of juices to try also. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again
