The room was very spacious, comfortable and clean. The location on the beautiful Mirissa beach is a plus, however this comes with an disadvantage due to its proximity to the Beach Club. It was very difficult to sleep in the weekend, their party lasts until sunrise. Just to be clear, I am referring to the neighboring beach club, not the beach club of the hotel.

Location - Not on the beach! Highly misunderstood by all who book per staff! Should be visible in display! Not a big deal as 200 meters away. Room and Bathroom ( novel and loved the shower ) are good except bed mattress wasn’t comfortable !
No refrigerator ! Never offered until at check out asked. Breakfast was hopeless! Sea food restaurant was closed.
However the staff was nice and attentive and that compensated ! It has potential !

I should explain that there are 2 Villas with the same name, side by side, with each Villa having 5 rooms. There were 11 of us staying in the Villa, so we 7 rooms booked. This meant that we had one full villa to ourselves and 2 rooms in the adjoining villa. As agreed in advance with the owner, we used the one villa for our food and spend the leisure time there also.
The Villa exceeded all our expectations, from the Villa itself, the staff, the food and the customer service. Rooms were exceptional and the staff cooked a fantastic meal for the 11 people on our last night, that had us all wanting to stay longer.
The Villa and garden area with the pool were maintained every day and everything was in pristine condition all the time.
Breakfast every morning for the 3 days was a feast, with nothing an issue for the kitchen staff.
We would all highly recommend this Villa, especially if you have a group that will occupy all 5 rooms in the Villa and have it to yourself.

It was perfect right on the beach in Marissa. The staff was attentive and frankly wonderful. I went for my birthday on a solo trip and they made all the arrangements for me. They help me go while watching they release baby turtles into the ocean. I had a special birthday dinner. They put They brought me a birthday cake and left me a gift in my room. It was just perfect.

This is definitely the best hotel in Mirissa considering location, comfort and money. The staff was very polite, especially Dilshan. They provided us a parking lot and was helping with everything. The location is amazing. Just 5 minutes walking to the beach, but calm and quiet. The big supermarket and most of the restaurants is within walking distance. The pool was always clean. I like it a lot.

A hotel direcly on the beach - this hotel has great location. It is directly on the beach, but still quite quiet (except Saturday party in the next door restaurant). We stayed in the ground floor which was great to just to walk directly to swim in the sea.
There is a little fridge and kettle in the room and an AC.
The breakfast was very good, we could choose everyday different option from the menu. We stayed once also for a lunch, and it was good.
They have sunbeds you can use as you like, enjoy the shadow from the trees and you have the option to get a juice or coffee (or food), but they don't push you to buy anything and you can lie there whole day.
You can pay by card for the accommodation.

Eating out can be expensive and caters to Western tastes. It is becoming increasingly difficult to find authentic Sri Lankan food, a real shame.
There are beautiful temples in the area, drop your smoothie bowl and experience the real Sri Lanka.

Mirissa is a great beach, currently the ocean is rough in April due to unusual weather patterns perhaps after Taiwan earthquake .
Fun beach where it totally comes alive from 4pm with restaurants row and in the mornings too could use the beach chairs swim while sipping a cocktail or have afternoon tea, currently only dip but for surf better. The food served with cocktails , wines alcohol and deserts are gourmet and delish and upto international standards.

Lovely long beach with many restaurants and bars along the way. Always a happy hour/hours at most places. Food is relatively expensive but you have to remember you are literally eating on the beach. Good surf spots and even a little body surf action on the main beach.

A very beautiful and friendly place, the beaches are incredible, we stayed 4 nights before moving on to Colombo, had we not already booke a paid for the hotel in Colombo, I can definitely say that we would've stayed in mirrisa for the entire time we were inSri Lanka.
The hotel was in an ideal location, run by very nice and friendly people.
I would highly recomend to stay at Dilara Resort if your are planning to go on excursions, it's perfect.
The hotel exceeded all our expectations. It was positioned on the beach front with a view over a deserted gorgeous beach. There are only 4 rooms in the hotel which makes it quiet and special. The staff want to make you feel like it's your home and they certainly achieve that. All of the staff provide top tier service and Suresh (general manager) even organised a private dinner on the beach to celebrate a birthday. We are very appreciative of the whole team at the Three Gables for making our stay unforgettable.
The Palace Mirissa was a beautiful and calm accommodation located on the View Point Hill above the city. Given the scenic view on the sea, the way to the beach was a little bit tricky. In order to enter the hotel a quite steep road needs to be passed or vice versa in case to get to the beach.
We appreciated very much the possibility to get access to the beach via the partner hotel “Paradise Beach Club” with a nice pool free of charge.

Super location. Close to the beach and Mirissa (right wave) and Parriot Rock (left wave) Surf spots, restaurants and shops around. You can rent surf boards and get surf lessons. Owner is instructor ProSurfer, so your level can go higher. The rooms are clean and have everything you need, AC and WiFi are good. Hotel staff super friendly and helps in everything you need. The location of the hotel is beautiful, surrounded by nature, but still Mirissa beach is well accessible. Especially since the hotel offers a free tuktuk service between 10am and 7pm to the main road, and after those hours the tuktuk driver can be reached by WhatsApp to drive you back for a good price. The pool and decoration of the place were nice too. The hotel cat is so cute and the staff is taking care of him 😊
This hotel is in a perfect location right on the beach and we were given a delicious fresh coconut on overall. It’s a very short walk to turtle beach and coconut hill in addition to Mirissa beach. The breakfast was good and you could order as much as you wanted from the breakfast menu. I also really liked the aesthetic of the whole place and the smell in the rooms was delicious!
Really cool place, it's a unique experience, I definitely recommend it. A very cozy treehouse in the jungle, just a ten minute walk from Mirissa Beach. The room is really cute, has a lot of character, comfy bed, mosquito net, good wifi, attached bathroom and I recommend having the tasty fish curry dinner they serve at the guesthouse.
The hosts were simply amazing, super friendly and offering help and advice for anything. The rooms were perfectly clean, nicely decorated. The location of the hotel is simply spectacular, right on a quiet beach, only a few meters away from seeing turtles while avoiding the crowds of the main Mirissa beach. Would definitely go back!
The location is excellent - right on the beach, in the center of Mirissa Bay. There is a spacious garden area with a pool and greenery with sun loungers which is a great place to relax and watch the ocean. Breakfast and dinner were included with my reservation, and the Sri Lankan food options varied every day and were tasty.
One of the best properties we stayed at in Sri Lanka and great value for money. This was the most affordable hotel during our entire stay yet the experience was great. The room and toilet was spotless clean, staff was very polite and location is about 10 mins walk from Mirissa beach. Highly recommended
Really nice location bang on Mirissa Beach with a lot of restaurants and bars surrounding it, the grocery store is just up the road and in general a great location if you are going to Mirissa. Not a lot happening at the hotel at night, but there are options on either side if you're up for a night out.
The prices are very fair and affordable, the rooms and the pool are genuinely very clean, the area is quiet and yet so close to the beach and main street (perfect location of the hotel!), and the staff is truly very friendly and helpful! It is the perfect place to stay in if you’re in Mirissa!
The location is perfect, right on the most beautiful beach and just a short distance to the main beach of Mirissa. We spotted turtles most days. The food here is very good especially the buffet breakfast. The staff are lovely and couldn't do enough for us.
Great location right next to the beach. You can walk to parrot rock, Mirissa beach, turtle beach and coconut hill. Two wheeler rental, laundry, restaurants all nearby. The grounds look stunning in the night and you can listen to the waves all day.
Great location- the street is directly opposite the beach entrance, but the hotel is far enough down the street to feel secluded and quiet. We had an AC room which also had hot water, fan, mosquito net and wifi. Room was clean too.
