John, Jacob and James were amazing hosts. We had a really good 2 day safari with them in Maasai Maara. Jacob was very good in explaining us about various animals we spot. John was an excellent safari guide too. The camp we stayed was also very good. They had good breakfast too. The entire camp stay was great. It had two beds, and was spacious. Shower was good with hot water, We had very good conversations about our cultures as well. The stay is quite close to Sekenani gate, a very ideal location

Good location for Maasai Mara reserve. They organised safari, hot air ballooning, Maasai village visit etc. Prices are high for what you get compared to other parts of the world but I suppose that's standard in the area and not the fault of the accommodation. We were lucky the place was available when we visited. I would stay there again but I wouldn't say its great value for money. Staff were very friendly and helpful, to the best of their abilities. I think any shortcomings lie with upper management and owners who are not on-site.

Very nice and clean authentic tents. Everything you need is in there. Big and very comfortable. Alex and the rest of the stuff are very friendly. We had a flat wheel and he and others helped us to fix it. Everything you ask for where there. Thank you all very much. We would definitely stay there again.

Very warm and kind people manning the Camp, from housekeepers to Reception. Excellent spread and sumptuous Breakfast. Superb people running the show in Dining Area, even interns were full of Enthusiasm. Well maintained Swimming pool and overall a superb camouflaged accommodation in midst of vast wilderness. Amazing sitout at Bar, splendid evening show, awesome Mini Club to wind down in evening from Club Tent, Their team hasn't left any stone unturned to make it more memorable than Safari as well.

Great tents with showers, electricity and verandas, attentive staff, great value for money, location very close to the park, camp fire and local traditions, and, most importantly, amazing salaries! It is a mid-range camp that provides you a wonderful opportunity to have great game drives with wonderful guides, sleep comfortably and spend reasonable money. Safari tourism can be extremely expensive but thanks to Drunken Elephant we were able to see the best of Maasai Mara, be comfortable and not spend a fortune.

Amazing staff - they treat you so well - the best was how they left hot water bottles in the bed in the evening. Very close to the park and you can hear the animals at night but for the price it’s unbeatable. Comfortable tent with a hot shower was amazing! They arranged everything for me and really looked after me. Special shout out to Daniel who was so organised and remembered every little detail. And Peter the guide was so knowledgable and we saw so much wildlife!

We absolutely loved Tayari Luxury Tented Camp. As they said when we arrived it felt like a home away from home. We directly had a really nice connection with the team and were always taken care of in the nicest way. The tents are really nicely designed and nicely arranged so that you feel like you are alone between the trees. I highly recommend!

There was a very good choice of food for each meal and the menu changed regularly. The chef Andrew and his team were excellent and went out of their way for a birthday surprise for our family, as were Ole as our waiter, Judy to answer all our questions and Morgan the security guard who escorted us back to our tents each evening. The location is very close to the game entrance and the club tents were very spacious with excellent views of the wildlife and park. The hot water bottles provided each night were a lovely bonus!
