For travellers who love being in nature with an added sense of luxury. Also called glamping, tented camps provide full or limited services, while surrounded by the wilderness. Typically in permanent or semi-permanent camps, these private tents/yurts are a great way to rough it while staying glamorous.
Breakfast was delicious…good selection and plenty of it. Extremely pleasant and helpful staff. Rooms were clean and comfortable with a nice hot shower! (Separate bath if needed!) Nice touches of bottled water, crisps and chocolate…slippers and fluffy bathrobe were also available.
the rooom was very spacious, to the point my son insisted on playing hide and seek in it. The staff were lovely and we also met Queenie the cat, which despite spending a fortune on Chester Zoo and Knowlesley Safari park i believe this was my sons favoruite part
Sarah was so friendly and always available if needed. The tents were lovely and clean cosy beds perfect settings. We had never been Glamping before but Sarah had made us very very welcome that we have booked again for August bank holiday. Calm atmosphere very relaxing. Loved every minute. Can not praise the site enough
Beautiful room - very modern, spotlessly clean and spacious. The facilities in the kitchen and bathroom were excellent. Really recommend the safari room for the tv in the bathroom and the jacuzzi bath. I need one! Staff were fab - had some issues with the tv in the main room but staff sorted it. Key drop off only on check out which was great but would have liked to have said thank you!
Very friendly, helpful staff, especially in the restaurant on our arrival who went out of their way to give us a sandwich when there was only tapas on the lunctime menu.
Really comfy beds & hot shower.
Lovely place, very central.
High quality of bedroom/shower room design and contents. Very clean.
Good location, 5-10 minute walk from train and bus stations.
Lovely view of the church opposite.
Quality of the food at breakfast.
Always a high standard of rooms, bar and restaurant. Friendly staff - nothing too much trouble and close to town for evenings out and shopping. Love looking on the canal for the wildlife and the barges.
Excellent location and price. Arrived too late to assess the bar. The bed was a good size. Good access to powerpoints either side of the bed. Quiet despite the location. Good hot shower. Good lighting.
a really wonderful stay, room was lovely, beds were so comfortable, gorgeous big bar area and restaurant for breakfast with a view of the canal and wildlife, staff so pleasant and helpful, certainly would recommend this hotel and return myself
The tents themselves (feels rude calling them tents because they're so much more) were so cosy and the beds were unbelievably comfortable! The owners/hosts couldnt have been more welcoming and accommodating and were so approachable. The views from all the tents down on to the lake were beautiful, the bathrooms were spotless and the grounds the venue is in felt like a real slice of paradise. I honestly cant rate this place enough. The wildlife, the goats up the hill, so close to the forest! What more could you want!
