A continental buffet breakfast is served every morning in the hotel dining room. I found the description of this hotel so interesting that I decided to go out of my way to stay here instead of continuing on to Carcassone. I had a huge room in Renaissance style with so many features and special ornamentation from that era. It was like spending the night in a museum of decorative arts. The hotel staff speak perfect English and we're kind enough to bring my bags to the room. The location is easy to find with GPS. It's not a very large city and there's plenty of free parking within convenient walking distance although the hotel does offer valet parking for a fee. This overnight was one of the highlights of my trip.

The Gourjade Park and lakes of Ste Féréole are easily accessible from the hotel. Hotel de l'Europe is situated between Albi, Cordes-sur-Ciel and Toulouse. Private parking is possible at a location nearby and valet parking is available at an extra cost. The rooms were nicely decorated, very comfortable, and clean. The breakfast was delicious and had a variety of food choices.

The rooms are distributed among 3 different buildings and all offer lovely views of the surrounding countryside or park. Amazing premises and nice rooms and breakfast. Enjoyed a few hours in the sun by the pool. Lovely sunset and drinks were served outside.

The location was excellent, close to downtown- sights, restaurants, cafes, marches and the metro. The host, Jean-Romain was exceptional. He helped us with issues not related to staying at L’Idrac.
