Only a 2-minute walk from Montañita downtown, Hotel Kundalini offers large green areas and is located right in front of the sea shore. A daily a la carte breakfast is included, and free WiFi access is available. Stayed at delux room with sea view, what a great accommodation. The room was very clean, nicely organized and sufficiently spacious. 5 minutes walk from Montanita's center meaning it was very central but quiet, we could sleep very well. Well kept outdoor patios and the staff was very friendly.

Big pool, huge garden, bon fire….you can easily walk to Montanita on beach or take a taxi for 1,50$ to center.

the staff and location were fantastic! Traveling as a woman by herself I felt incredibly safe. The owners gave me a great deal of helpful information about restaurants and other activities available.
It was fun to stay in a geodesic dome, as I have read about them. It was quite spacious and the shared bathrooms and showers were very clean. They helped me get a taxi to my next location. They even had a small library of books, so I was able to swap out a new book to read!
The staff were really very nice, and their hospitality was beyond my expectations. The property is spotlessly clean, and the location is perfect.
The staff go over and above here, very helpful in booking a tour to Isla de la Plata and making sure I got there safely. The room was clean and comfortable, with aircon. The kitchen is small but had what we needed. The location is very close to the centre but not too close to the party hostels and bars, so ideal for a quieter stay.

the location of this hostel is perfect. 20 second walk to the beach and best waves in town, 2 min taxi to Olon, 10min beach walk to downtown montanita. Included breakfast in the morning is excellent (actually its the best breakfast in town hands down). Staff is extremely friendly and hostel is very clean.
Centrally located Chescos might be the best low budget hotel on the entire southwest coast of Ecuador. The room was spacious enough, the shower had hot water and the staff was friendly. The A/C worked like a charm. The location was superb, right next to the beach.

Everything thing was great! It's the best hostal in South America and I highly recommend. The personnel is very attentive making you feel like home! Big and varied breakfast, delicious coffee! Hostel is very clean, the hot water is a proper hot water and the pressure is very good. I think it's the only hostal with water dispositor which actually is very helpful. Also the prices of beer are very affordable. The place is better than the pictures and location is great, very close to the beach:-)
