Excellent host, welcoming, very helpfull, caring, and generous.
Ayampe
Featuring a fully equipped common kitchen, Spondylus Lodge offers a garden and BBQ facilities in Ayampe. Ayampe beach is 200 metres away and the commercial area of Puerto Lopez is a 15-minute drive away. Spondylus lodge was one of my best accommodations in South America so far! I had a private room; good price, very spacey with own balcony. Comfortable bed and good AC! Free coffee in the morning and filtered water. 5 min walk to the beach. Big common areas and a good common kitchen. The place was very very clean. Staff was nice and helpful! Very quite and tranquil. would def recommend!

San Pablo
An à la carte, continental or American breakfast can be enjoyed at the property. At the lodge you will find a restaurant serving Seafood and local cuisine. Vegetarian, dairy-free and vegan options can also be requested. 4 years at my annual 'home' at Cabanas Oasis! Pilar and Oswald continue to amaze me! This little gem in the friendly village of San Pablo offers peace and tranquility with Oswald's incredible gourmet delights! See you next year!

Everything is clean and well maintained. Big window, balcony with a table and chairs. Location a bit away from the noise but direct access to the beach. Private infinity pool.

The place its self is beautiful, lovely pool surrounded beautiful tranquil gardens! Nice place to sit and chill and read a book or just an afternoon swim and nap! The staff was exceptional helpful and very happy-service with a smile! They save a good breakfast everyday with fresh fruit, juice and coffee. The lodge is in a quiet neighborhood only 4 blocks from the beach and several restaurants!
Quite little getaway spot a little walk away from the beach and the main drag, Azuluna Ecolodge offers a perfect hideout for a day or two, or five like for me. I think I was the only guest in the house, and had the whole dorm to my self. Kitchen was still open and the staff provided me with excellent foods with reasonable prices.
Julio and his father were some of the kindest people I've met on my trip around Ecuador. I arrived to the lodge quite ill and Dr Salazar nursed me back to health and they did everything they could to make me comfortable so I could heal. I wish I could give an even higher rating! The hotel itself is very clean and affordable and even includes breakfast. The pool was very nice as well. 10/10 recommend Tuzco Lodge!
The property is in a beautiful garden setting right on the beach on the quiet side of the town. The main lodge is lovely with beachfront views for breakfast and seating anytime.
Starting with the good (because there WAS some key good aspects): great location for the rare, non-partying visitor to Montañita. It's close enough so that you can walk around town but not in the hotspot of clubbing that makes most lodging options here awful for actual resting. Beds are comfy and clean, staff is very willing and nice (however unprepared, more on this later) and, overall, is a good deal for your buck.
everything was very clean and tidy. it was difficult to keep some insects away from the room but it was not that annoying. The jacuzzi was very nice. I think it is very necessary to arrive by car in order to be able to move around since the lodge is in a nice quiet place, but quite far away from the beach.
It’s a beautiful place, Christian build here. There are several lodges, we had a nice private bathroom in ours. Also Christian is a very chill guy and fun to hang out with. Super friendly and we had great talks! It’s only about a 5-7min walk to the beach and it’s a very calm, green place.
It is a small quiet beautiful forest lodge, nice trails to walk to see wildlife, only a 5 - 10 minute drive into San Lorenzo village which has a beautiful beach. Also the food was amazing. The family who runs it is lovely.
Muyuyo Lodge is a perfect stay in Ayangue. Steps from the cove beach. The room was clean, comfortable and large. There is a slider door that went to a balcony with 2 chairs and small table. The breakfast was good The family that runs the place are great and most gracious. Highly recommend for a peaceful retreat on the Ecuadorian Coast.
