This was one of the nicest hotels I've stayed at in a long time! The location was perfect for exploring the Black Hills area. It's just outside of Custer, so it's very quiet and peaceful. The staff were always so welcoming and friendly, the beds were incredibly comfortable and the room and bathroom were clean! Good wifi as well. They also had a little cafe next door and a cookie happy hour every afternoon!

We were with two couples in the Eagles Landing lodge for 3 nights. We met with Deb and her daughter and they were extremely helpful to us and we felt very welcome. The lodge and the rooms have been very tastefully decorated, it has a lot of facilities ( fully equiped kitchen, games room with a pool table) and it all worked fine. Located within Custer State Park, it is right in the middle of all the things one can do in the park. It is far enough off of State Highway Alt16 that it offers a really peaceful setting. It is also right next door (5 min walk) to the State Game Lodge which has an excellent restaurant. It also has a very nice outdoor courtyard with tables and a great place to enjoy the animals that wonder up. We saw a small group of bighorn sheep.

This motel is very nice. The staff is super friendly, the rooms are small, but comfortable and clean. Bed is good. Bathroom is very small, but it's ok, and again: nice and clean. The serve a complementary grab and go breakfast, with good quality products. And this motel is cosy!!
