Transfer to the location is possible only through a 4 wheel drive. Shuttle transfers can be arranged from our office in Bidiyah at 35 omr/4wd for those who dont have 4*4.

The camp is great. There are only two tents and you can rent the whole thing for yourself. We really got the experience of being out in the desert alone. The facilities are excellent with a good bathroom and shower and nice bed (no A/C). The tents are in the traditional style as is the dining tent. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Definitely worth waking up for sunset.

One of the closest stays to Wadi Bani Khalid - 30 to 40 min drive. Since we arrived here the previous night, we were able to reach Wadi Bani Khalid in time the next morning. Very Clean and spacious room. Good Parking space. The owner was also very helpful.

Belgium
I spent two weeks in Oman but definitely this was the highlight of the trip. We were picked up by the owner from Al Wusta (as we didn't have a 4x4) and he drove us to the camp. There was only one group of friends and the rest of the camp was empty, which was nice as we chose this specific camp to relax and disconnect. Nice activities were offered (other guys did the dune bashing). The owner spent a really long time talking to us - he was the nicest person in the already very friendly country. The staff working there was very polite and helpful. Food options (including vegetarian!) were amazing, for the desert I think it was almost luxurious. I will always recommend this camp to everyone, it was really nice and peaceful. This camp is a gem of Wahiba Sands. And the tallest dune is located right next to the camp, which is a must to climb (although exhausting). The sunset was beautiful. The owner really cares about his business and the guest, as well as his staff.

The property was very clean and the caretaker (Mr. Sajjad) was very helpful. The property is about 200 meters away from the sand dunes. The views from the property during the morning and night are equally spectacular. There is a road for cars that are NOT 4x4 to reach the property as well. However, it’s best to contact the owner for guidance. The rooms are spacious and beautiful. The surroundings are clean. The owner was very friendly and polite. We loved our stay!
