Krish’ place is perfect. Spacious bedroom & bathroom, immaculately clean. AC & fan are both available so you can choose. Location is perfect situated between Kalkudah & Pasikuda Beach. You can use the local hotel for a small charge (Laya $3 Uga $8). Krish and her staff are very kind & welcoming. Krish really is an incredible woman, goes above and beyond for her guests. We had a meal across the road that did not satisfy & after reading reviews about Krish’ food (request in advance) we had an exceptional meal of prawns, rice and curry. Thank you so much Krish, it was a pleasure meeting you. 2 nights wasn’t enough. Expect a quiet area with no WiFi, clean, comfortable and spacious- you will not be disappointed! Sri Lankan breakfast was also superb.

This was our first stay at Amaya. By far this was the best resort/hotel we have stayed in. The deluxe suite was very spacious. The washroom was clean and superb. Wifi was fast. The food at the breakfast and dinner buffets was nothing short of delicious. I've stayed at 5 star hotels in Colombo but the food here was excellent. The greatest strength of this resort is the hospitality provided by the staff. Every single one of them who we encountered went above and beyond. Most notable for us was Tharindu from the restaurant service. He asked if we wanted a pureed meal for the baby and ensured we received it. The last day, we had to leave early and wasn't able to have our breakfast and wanted to take out instead. And Tharindu ensured that our food was packaged and ready to go. For a 4 star resort, their services and quality were so much better than a 5 star in Colombo. It was the highlight of our experiences. We stayed for 2 nights but wish we could for longer.

A beautiful oasis. Very clean and new-feeling location, felt private and quiet. The bedroom was extremely clean, the bed was big and very comfortable, bedding was great, the air conditioning was excellent, shower was great. Walking distance from Kalkudah beach (not for swimming), very quick tuktuk to Pasikuda beach. Excellent food and juices, excellent staff. Best pool in Sri Lanka, swimming under the stars was magical. Many fruits, vegetables, and spices grown on the property. Amazing, caring staff.
