Everything was great: rooms are clean and staff is nice and helpful. Hotel is located in a nice neighborhood, there is a large mall just across the street. Breakfast was okay, just as you would expect from a good 4-star hotel. Our room was cleaned thoroughly every day, and there were all the amenities you would expect. We didn't have a chance to visit spa or the pool, so can't comment on that. It was scorching hot in Almaty during our visit (+36 C), but AC was doing a good job keeping our room nice and chilly. Will definitely visit again, highly recommended.

It is one of the best hotels I've stayed, totally to my liking. Prior to the trip communication was good and on timely manner. The reception smells very nice, beautifully decorated. The ladies at the reception extremenly hospitable, they spoke very good English. The room was just as I like it - simple and minimalistic design but with luxury details (Bathrobes, excellent bedlinen, very comfortable beds and pillows) Breakfast was good for a 3-day trip, they had some local specialties (samasa, ayran). We tried the restaurant for lunch too, ordered some manty, very tasty and reasonable prices, good service. Utmost central location, we walked everywhere, a lot of shops and cafes around. Overall very happy with the hotel, would definately stay again.

All the staff is very friendly and helpful. Some of them speak great English, and even for those who don't, it was always smooth using any simple app on the phone like Google Translate. I was especially impressed that they individually remember for example how I like things in the room, or a question I asked yesterday, and then they were consistent and even proactive about it tomorrow. The breakfast was exceptional. Every morning different delicious dishes and cakes made by their chef, Aliyah. Furniture is specifically unique. They are kind of antique and very beautiful.
