Lovely host!! Super friendly and helpful. I'm really disappointed I only booked one night and couldn't stay more time in Gifu.. she came to pick me up from the train station and took me to a cafe and after to watch a special event by the river. For breakfast she made so much food that I couldn't eat until dinner! :) my 'Japanese grandmother' is the best!

Nice place, I was in a twin room (European style) with a friend. There was everything needed in the room. On the first floor there is a well equipped kitchen, a bathroom and laundry room. Being able to take a bath after hiking up Mt Kinka was very much needed :D It's a bit of an escape game to get the key (inside a code box on the door) but it's not a problem.
