This is the best place we have stayed in India so far. The hosts really looked after us - arranging us vegan dinners, helping us secure taxis and making us feel supremely at home. They are a brilliant team and the house is spotless and fantastic value for money. The beautiful veranda is the best for a relaxing evening or morning. If you’re looking for a relaxing stay, we can’t recommend Newa house enough.

Great experience & perhaps the best said an example for what a Home Stay is all about. We stayed here for 2 days. It was a family trip aimed at relaxation. Very neatly maintained property & most courteous people I have come across in the near past. The chirping sound of birds was a welcome way to greet mornings during vacations. Awesome food!!! I booked this place because it was close to the airport. very neat and clean. Prem the caretaker was very helpful and courteous. He ensured we were comfortable. Filter water provided and kitchenette facilities with an extra bed and air conditioning..really worth it. Prem also helped drop me to the airport.

Helpful, responsive host (gave us free upgrade because nicer room wasn't in use!). Clean, well-equipped, and spacious. While the location is a distance from downtown Siliguri, and isn't by many shops and restaurants, this does translate to a peaceful, quiet stay.

Second time in marigold...and I love come here...it's like come back home. Yuneesh and his family are so kind and always ready to help us...there is no better place if you have to be near bagdogra airport!! We arrived at 10 in the morning and they prepared us an amazing breakfast. We could also have lunch there. Now they have a separate space for eating. And Yuneesh brought us to the airport the day after...they are really really kind...so please try marigold!!
