I wish I could write here that this is a hidden gem, but it's not. Viewing all the other reviews, this B&B has been discovered by others long before me. I can only say that I connect with all the other opinions. What a great place and what a lovely people. During my stay the present host was not available, so his mum, who used to own the B&B took his place. And what a lovely lady she is. Besides the excellent and warm hospitality, the rooms are spacious and absolutely immaculate. You can feel the TLC that has been in this house for so many years. Thank you, I will never forget your (and your husbands) kindness. Bless you and your family! It's people like you that are the true gems of Ireland.

What can I say?! This house was perfect!! The hosts were friendly, kind and helpful. They've thought of everything and the little extras were a pleasant surprise! We wanted for nothing and they checked to make sure we had everything we needed. I loved this place. All the comforts of home. The owners Sheila and Owen had gone through the the extra trouble of providing snacks and treats and also came by for a visit to meet us. This was by far my favorite accommodations on our Great Britain / Ireland vacation. A very short walk to town. Pats restaurant is about 100 yards away. Great food at a fair price and recommended by the owners and myself. Thanks again for everything. Castleisland is also the perfect proximity to all the surrounding attractions of Kerry.
