What a gem this hotel is! The staff friendly and helpful, the room elegant, beautiful, and a very good size. The location right in the Main Street of the town. The breakfast was delicious all served with a smile. We also had our evening meals which were Devine. The Garden Terrace was my favourite, so relaxing! Would happily return!

We've been traveling across Europe and the UK for weeks. Queen Matilda's was one of our favorite places. Jo was a lovely host, very genuine, informative about the area, and gave us a fantastic breakfast before we said good-bye. The room was beautiful, bed and linens were so comfortable. Can't say enough good things about it.
