We enjoyed a brilliant weekend staying in this 2 bedroom house and would highly recommend it for a quiet weekend away in a beautiful little town. Mary was there to greet us on arrival and show us around the house, how to use heating and hot water etc. The house is decorated beautifully and has everything you would need, including plenty of towels, pillows, full kitchen and even a few books and decks of cards. The house is about 3mins from the bus stop at portaferry Square, and on the same street as the Eurospar, Captain Jack's bistro (highly recommended) and other bars and a Chinese. The town is small so all the great pubs are only a short walk away as is the aquarium and shore and ferry. The price for this house is very competitive and I would not hesitate to book again, we even stayed the extra night last minute and it was no hassle at all.

We rented all 3 units and had a fabulous stay in a beautiful location near the tip of the Ards peninsula. The accommodation was comfortable and we enjoyed the rustic cottage feel. The open living area in the Barn was great for us all to come together in the evenings after some days out exploring Portaferry, Cloughey, Strangford and Castleward. We all loved visiting Exploris and the courtyard and garden at Barr Hall Barns was great for the four children to play in. Dad is a wheelchair & rollator user and the Barn was very Accessible with the ramp and downstairs accessible shower room. Communication was great from Jill and we would definitely recommend and would come back again.

The property was lovely. Michael has thought of everything, anyone could need. Quality furnishings & the beds were very comfortable, with a harbour view. The hot tub was the icing on the cake! Lovely & warm for our arrival. We had a fun time for my 60th Birthday. Lovely friendly Restaurants, just a few, short steps away & our well behaved Beagle was welcome too🐾 We have decided to return again next year. Just one improvement needed & that is upstairs shower seal needs renewed.
