We only live just over an hour away from Bala and was attending an an open day on a farm just outside the town, we chose Plas y Dre as we did not want to drive home late and were lucky a room was a available, we had a lovely comfortable clean room with a huge shower in the ensuite comfy bed and it was lovely and warm. Nice choice of breakfast my scrambled eggs on toast was cooked really nice and my husbands full English the same, we had a very pleasant young man serving us he is a credit to the hotel, would be very happy to stay again.

the property is in a little cozy spot right near bala.. the setting is lovely and the property matches this.. its a wonderful place to stay the property was in two sections and both were modern and kept to a high standard with a lovely decking area and seating area between them.. the hosts were very polite and amazing at directing us to the property.. me and my partner had an amazing stay and the beds were perfect i had an amazing nights sleep.. we will definatly return 🙌🏻 if you have not stayed here yet book it now u wont regret it 😃

Location was good, amenities not too far, mountains and walks close by.

The house is beautiful keept by the owner with all the confort you need for a great stay. The kitchen is very good equipped , the beds are really confortable, it was very clean, warm and no problems with the hot water. The location is perfect if you want to explore Snowdonia. Beautiful rural roads in the back of the property , perfect sunset and we enjoyed the sheeps all around. It was a perfect stay for us and we will really wnat to return. Thank you, Colin for the gifts
A very clean, comfortable B and B. Quiet location. Bathroom had one of the best showers I've come across. The hosts were helpful and responded to special requests ( the friend I travelled with is vegetarian and prefers oat milk and that was not a problem). The location is excellent for touring the area. Good breakfast and excellent value for money.
