Wow what a treat to stay at Molly's Cottage! I booked a stay for two weeks, and ended up staying a month as I didn't want to leave. Quaint town house in a small town nestled between Wales and England. It had absolutely everything I could have needed: firewood, kitchen supplies, friendly neighbours and even some wine. Perfect for a short or longer stay, greatly situated in town and for access to Offa's Dyke. Generously looked after by the caretaker Helen, the cottage felt like home. A real writer's retreat! Thank you again for a wonderful stay. I hope to come back.

Very clean, large room with modern shower/en suite, and very comfortable bed. The internet connection was very good. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the evening Thai meals were excellent as was the breakfast. We [there were 4 of us in 2 rooms] thought it was excellent value for money and would love to stay there again [this particular booking was just a stop/break on a journey home]. as the surrounding area seemed a great place to explore further.

All our rooms are situated on the first floor around the courtyard. Due to the age of the building and the location of the rooms, there could be some noise disturbance during the weekend.

All very friendly staff, lovely and clean great decor everywhere. Spacious in the pub area very warm and cozy. Nothing was any problem staff totally on board, good communication. The best stay we’ve have had in a long while. Meals cooked to perfection and done how you personally like it ( I really enjoyed this as I do have a few dietary problems). We also liked the way the rooms were just alongside the pub so you didn’t have to keep walking through the pub to get to them. So nicer to come and go as you please! Plenty of shops near by and walks great place to stay and visit!

It wasn't ensuite, but it was a fabulous place to stay. My room (the family room) was HUGE and the view was stunning. The bed was super firm and the pub below was a wonderful place to while away the evening. The kitchen was full size and there was a lot of space in the fridge for my cheese and crackers. Highly recommend Watson's Ale
