Lovely cooked breakfast (pre order cooked items the day before and post the sheet through the letterbox) and with cereals/jams/spreads etc to help yourself. Mighty fine coffee. Right at the heart of the village but very quiet in the room when we went even though there were quite a few people about. great shower. Tea/coffee etc in room replenished along with towels every day if you wish. Handy little fridge in the cupboard. Perfect for just a couple.

We stayed here for 3 nights, having escaped from our caravan just round the corner that our daughter and family (including 4 young children!!) had taken over!! It was perfect. Obviously location was ideal, as we were able to return to lend a hand and have meals. Accommodation was just what we wanted - huge comfortable bed - and at a price we were happy to pay.
We were met by Billy, who was brilliant.
As stated, no breakfast facilities (yet?), but equipped with tea and coffee making facilities.
Would recommend.

Well, Little Haven, it really was. We absolutely loved our stay there. We felt at home from the very first second we walked in. Dylan, the host, was very supportive and very professional. The cottage was exceptionally clean, well equipped, 5 minutes walk from the seafront, on main street but very quiet at night. If I could, I would go back there today. Thanks

Watermill cottage was situated just off the A1 so convenient location, very homely and spacious, amazing beams in the bedrooms and bathroom, very clean loved every minute
The location was superb, quiet and tranquil, low light pollution for stargazing, lovely horses in the field. The Swedish hottub was fantastic. Everything you needed for a wonderful stay was right there and everything was spotless. If we are ever in the area again we will stay much longer.

The property is set in a nice location, although by a road it was very quiet and it was nice to sit out at the front of the property and take in the surroundings. The property itself was very clean and tidy, with all amenities you'd need. Bed was comfortable and I had a great sleep!
The location was excellent, quiet and tranquil, but still within easy reach of the local villages, such as Seahouses for shops and food. Also not far to drive to Alnwick. A fantastic base to explore the area, with excellent amenities, and very clean. It was everything we could have wished for.
Our stay at the Garden Rooms at Newton Hall by far exceeded our expectations, we had a lovely spacious room with a hot tub outside. The room was spotlessly clean and everything we needed was provided for our stay. The location is ideal for the beach and the Joiners Arms pub. Super relaxing and quiet stay, staff were super helpful and accomodating.
