The bed was great, the shower was fantastic and the spa was great too!! Water pressure was great considering it was on the top floor- the spa filled in no time!
The room was perfectly clean and the furnishings were just lovely! We had what they called the bridal suite.
Breakfast was wonderful as well. Walk into town was only about 5 or six minutes. Highly recommended!

We had a fantastic stay... great service , food, and location. Staff were very attentive. The room was large and very comfortable. All the small touches were much appreciated. The location was very serenere and peaceful . A hidden gem for sure.

Popular with backpackers, many properties can be found in central locations and include comfortable rooms with private or shared bathrooms. You’ll also find a number of options which feature a 24-hour front desk and luggage storage.
Location is great. Ideally situated between Cockermouth and Keswick with bus stops outside. Very comfortable room and the extra touches like bottled water and fresh milk were an unexpected addition to the well stocked hospitality tray. As were the ear plugs with the bathroom bits n bobs.
Spoiled for choice with the options for breakfast, all of which were freshly made and beautifully presented. Pete and Katie are exceptional hosts and deserve more stars than reviews allow.
Wonderful location, beautiful guest house and welcoming hosts! Karen and Tim were the best hosts and their hospitality was exceptional. The cooked breakfast was fantastic and the facilities spotless, comfortable and charming.
Loved everything about our stay at Link House. A lovely property which was spotlessly clean and so comfortable. Ideally located for easy access to all areas, with a bus stop right outside to Keswick or Cockermouth for those that don't drive. Hosts Pete and Katie were so welcoming and friendly, and offered suggestions of places of interest to visit and places to eat. The beds are extremely comfortable, and I slept better thank I have in years! The food was delicious and plentiful, and we can't wait to go back.
Plenty of choice, couldn't fault it --- Tim is the king of the kitchen. Location of the Guest House is ideal, perfectly situated if you want to go walking, but also near enough to drive to a number of local towns.
2 night stay in the beautiful guest house. Would highly recommend! We arrived early but it wasn’t an issue, our room was ready, we were greeted very pleasantly and showed to our room with great detail of the surroundings we could see from the room we stayed in. Very clean and tidy. Peaceful location. Breakfast was delicious and plenty to choose from. Would highly recommend and would definitely return in the future.
