My tourist guide mentioned Cowichan means "warm country" which our host from the booking showed us with some great tips (e.g. whalewatching tour) and even offering to do groceries for us :-)! The house is very spacious, same as the terrace which on top has a fabulous view!

For those on a budget, these cheap and cheerful hotels still have a lot to offer, with most offering WiFi and convenient locations. Prime location, nice access of the highway, next door to many fast food establishments, grounds are well kept. Staff is always helpful and pleasant to deal with.
The location was on the main route and could be seen easily from the highway. A little awkward to get back on the highway from the hotel but manageable. Very close to Walmart if you need a few extra things. Bathroom was small but room was big enough. It was very clean and quiet. Breakfast was plentiful.
Sharon was a lovely host, very clean, nice breakfast and it was a lovely location. The deer in the garden was a lovely bonus. We all managed to get a good nights sleep.
