There was a washing machine for us to use free in our room and a very efficient drier downstairs. We found a wonderful tempura restairant (Ishibashi) only a 5 minute walk away. The food was great and it was run by an older man and his daughter, we sat at the bench to eat so could watch them prepare our meals. It was a really authentic experiemce. We also visited the Hokusai museum... a wonderful exoerience. The deliCATessen opposite the shrine near the museum was a friendly coffee stop. We would highly recommend the hotel and the area.

Apartment is located in the middle of Tsukiji market area which makes it lively and exciting. Great small restaurants and eateries around, multiple metro stations in walking distance. Staff is very kind and helpful, the apartment is clean and well equipped (English manual available for all gadgets). Rooms size is spacy, bed is very comfortable and wifi works well.

The guest house, set in a building dating from 1970, is 1.2 km from Kamejimashogakko Memorial Park and 1.3 km from Sumida Cultural Museum. Ushijima Shrine is 1.4 km away and Tobu Museum is 1.4 km from the guest house. Good location (nearby Hikifune metro station, which is only few stations away from the town like Tokyo station or Asakusa, and nearby covenient stores and restaurants as well). The owner is super nice and gave us a warm welcoming and a good care. The accommodation was cozy, comfortable and gave a local-alike feeling. The place was wide enough for 3 women to stay in comfortably. Totally recommended. Also, we can see a Tokyo Sky Tree from the street around the accommodation.

Clean beds, clean bathrooms, a record player in the shared space. It was a great experience and the value for your buck is absolutely insane. I will say that if you do book here, try to do more than a few days. I felt like I was becoming a part of the neighborhood right when I had to leave after 3 days of being there. Highly recommended, everything was amazing, even down to the cool set of keys each guest receives for the house. Will definitely re-book in the future.

The room exceeded my expectations in size and convenience. There's even a small workspace where I had a quick meeting while my kid played. Plus, you can do laundry and cook here, which is awesome for a long trip. It's just one stop from Asakusa, a 5-10 minute walk or a quick subway ride, with the station conveniently located just a minute's walk from the hotel entrance. Surrounded by convenience stores and excellent restaurants, the location couldn't be better.
