Free WiFi is available throughout the property and private parking is available on site. The accommodation features a lift, a shared kitchen and luggage storage for guests. Incredibly clean and organized. Staff was great. Kitchen was amazing, even if we only used to make coffee.

At the guest house guests are welcome to take advantage of a hot spring bath. Guests at Onsen & Garden -Asante Inn- will be able to enjoy activities in and around Gora, like hiking. We loved our stay at the Asante Inn. The staff was incredibly accommodating, and very helpful with local recommendations. We had a private room for 2 (picture included), as well as a single bed in the female dorm (for my sister-in-law). We all opted for the Japanese breakfast each day, which was prepared beautifully and was fantastic. Our room was on the lower level, right next to the mini workout area (a stationary bike, as well as some other machine), which had a massage chair. The massage chair was incredible, and much needed after a long day of hiking. We loved the private onsen with signups. They have a left (larger) and right (smaller) onsen which can be both be reserved in 40 minute increments using a signup on the main floor. Signups are for 16:00-22:30 (8 signups, 2 onsens, so 16 different reservations a day). The onsens can be used on a first come first served basis in the mornings as well. We also went to a local japanese restaurant near the bottom of the hill (not far from the bus stop) which was an incredible experience within a few minutes walking from the hotel.

Kusatsu Onsen Eidaya is located in Kusatsu. The property is a 10-minute walk from Kusatsu Yubatake and Kusatsu-Onsen Bus Terminal. Guests can find a private hot spring bath and Japanese restaurant on site. The host was amazing, he offered us complimentary drinks! He suggested food places in the town as one of us was vegetarian, he helped us print out a component of our itinerary and was just an overall amazing person, the best service I've ever had anywhere in the world. On top of that we had accidentally left a smart watch at our last stop and he called the hotel on our behalf and spoke with them arranging for us to retrieve our belongings later on. We can't thank you enough for the amazing and welcoming environment.

They had a lot of variety for the dinner and breakfast. Everything was very clean. The best part was the very nice staff, especially during the meals. I’m terrible with names, but I especially appreciate the waiter who helped us who was originally from Nepal. There was also an older gentleman who made origami for our kids, but every person we me was super kind and genuine. It was also good that many of the staff spoke good English as my Japanese is very limited.
