Very clean and comfortable house. The host was great: so nice and attentive to every detail in their place. The rooms are cozy, you have everything you may need in the house, there was everything for barbecue and we could stay with our dog without additional fees.

We spent 3 days at Ricardo and Nina's place, everything was perfect, the food, the location, the beautiful nature in the surroundings... Beautiful and large historic home within the city walls of Obidos. Tastefully decorated with all the amenities that one may need. Rafael is an amazing host. He was easily reachable upon arrival and helped us park next to the house and then enthusiastically showed us the house and gave us information about what to do and see around Obidos. He stocked the kitchen with fresh fruit for is and provided bread, eggs, milk, cheese, cereals, various teas and some vegetables along with the usual condiments like oil, salt and pepper etc. He also provided another welcome gift of local delicacies.

We arrive later than anticipated due to a late arrival in Lisbon but João still met us at the guesthouse to check us in and make sure we were settled. João is a very generous host in every way. He gave us time, flexibility and many suggestions. We (two couples) were very comfortable in the rooms and made use of the kitchen and dining room to have our late dinner. The house and rooms are very well appointed and beautifully done. We really liked going to the local bakery for coffee and pastries. We chose the guesthouse because it wasn't in the heart of Obidos and we were happy of our decision to have stayed in the small village of Vau. Quick trip to Obidos and coast.
