we loved staying at the backpackers. Location is everything here. So easy to just relax all day in the shade right at the beach. Free breakfast has a wide range and they really take every single additional wish. Everyone is always friendly.

Everything! Location on the gorgeous beach, the swimming pool, the helpful staff, the delicious food, the aircon in the massive room. We were there for 2 nights and didn't end up leaving! They have glass boat kayaks and paddleboards you can hire (I think it's the business on the hotel grounds - I'm not sure). You can have kite lesson classes too. We did the kayaks and paddleboards - both very very fun (but pricey -20 euro for an hour/25 for 2 hours). There's a sandbank you can visit in low tide. The glass bottom boats allow you to see underneath very clearly. I didn't see much coral, but did see a lot of red star fish and some fish in between the rocks where there was a bit of coral.

We enjoyed my experience at the house. Joyce was exceptionally warm and welcoming, ensuring that I felt right at home from the moment we arrived. The staff were equally friendly, providing excellent service and going out of their way to make our stay comfortable. One of the highlights was the breakfast—it was not only delicious but also thoughtfully prepared, with a variety of options that catered to our taste. My son also enjoyed the pool and also the AC which made our sleep enjoyable despite Diani temperatures.

Tombo House is an incredible hidden gem in Diani Beach, Mombasa, that ticked all the boxes for me. I wanted to reconnect with nature, switch off from my devices, relax, eat good food and enjoy the tropical weather that Mombasa had to offer. Tombo House was the perfect hideaway to do that. Its grounds are incredibly well looked after, and the gardens were absolutely stunning to walk around, all well-maintained and beautiful.
The room itself (Deluxe double with a balcony) exceeded my expectations - it was extremely clean, well decorated and was very calming to stay there. The bathroom was clean, as was the bedroom and hallway, and the balcony had the most incredibly mountain view with lots of trees and monkeys that came to say hello in the early morning or early evening. I was pleased that the room had mosquito nets on the windows, which meant I could fall asleep to the birds and crickets at night without getting eaten alive by the mozzies. It was also really relaxing to have the windows open when it lashed down with tropical rain!
I really loved the breakfast, too. I enjoyed waking up early to enjoy a selection of fresh fruits, delicious German sweet bread (and all the condiments and jams), and the two ladies who made me delicious eggs and bacon every morning. I also loved the morning playlist in the dining area, although it did feel like groundhog day sometimes because I kept hearing the same song every day (John Mayer) but I didn't mind, it was very relaxing and I loved the songs. Great music taste by the way.
I LOVED the garden with the gorgeous pool and sun beds, and the staff were incredibly helpful with everything. Thank you Nora, your partner as well for his friendliness, Eunice is the best, as is Vanessa, the two men maintaining the garden were friendly, as were the security team. Kira and the other pooch!!! I felt very safe travelling alone here and it's all thanks to you guys. Thank you. Will definitely come back again! P.S.

I have stayed with my family, 5 people at Oasis Villas, and we have enjoyed our stay in one of the Bungalows. The pool is nice and clean, and the garden surrounding the bungalows beautiful. We have booked a chef to cook for us, which was very helpful and he cooked really tasty food. The manager Mr Fanuel is very nice and responds quickly to any request. He tried his best to made our stay comfortable and he took care that others quests are not making noise at night and we could sleep. The place is safe and well managed.

Super comfortable, clean and very well equipped accommodation in a beautiful villa, everything is like in the pictures. Hilda was a super nice host and always prepared a very delicious breakfast. The location is perfect, quiet but still close to the beachfront, with a private pool surrounded by a beautiful garden. They are also happy to provide information about scuba diving, local programs and restaurants. Hilda’s homestay was very unique and quiet, totally recommended instead of a hotel.

I spent a very pleasant vacation with my family. Mr. David was very supportive, any request or information was fulfilled promptly. Onesmus prepared food for us at our request, a boy very attentive to details, very pleasant and nice. The villa was cleaned daily, the pool and the garden were also taken care of daily. I was impressed by the daily work of the staff and their desire to make us feel good on vacation. I highly recommend this villa to families with children or groups of friends.
We loved the quietness and the privacy we had on the compound, the swimming-pool, the food, the view at the ocean, the lovely and cosy interior design of our villa and the amazingly friendly staff. We will definitely come back one day!
