The location was fantastic, nice and remote and perfectly suited to what I was looking for. A nice comfortable space with a little attic surprise which the other guests didn't seem aware of. The staff were extremely welcoming and friendly, and in the morning they even granted permission to say a quick hello to the horses in the stables which was a very welcome bonus!

Nice and homely guesthouse in beautiful scenery, the best location to watch everything on south-eastern part of Iceland (Diamond Beach, Vatnajökull National Park, Vestrahorn etc.). Staff - Thora and her husband - is really-really friendly and helpful and they make amazing breakfast. Shared bathrooms are clean, and there is a kitchen for the staff but they let you use the microwave and the cutlery; there is a shared fridge too. You have a sink in your room.
Old Cottage - Reynivellir II has sea views, free WiFi and free private parking, located in Jökulsárlón, 12 km from Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon. This bed and breakfast offers a shared lounge.

Charming, comfortable and well appointed room in a two room cottage with great views. Plenty of parking and breakfast was fine. We drove down to the end of the farm avenue close to main road and had spectacular views of northern lights. Were greeted by a fun and perky little dog in the morning. Would recommend this place.

The hostel is located in a very small village (few buildings), where there are also two restaurants. The room was good, the shared bathrooms were good, and the staff was very helpful and nice. It is a very good solution in such area. I recommend it.
