Hvammból Guesthouse is a small, family-run guest house situated 10 km from Vík. It offers studio apartments featuring a private entrance and small patio from which guests can enjoy views of the hills and endless sky. This was an excellent place to stay very close to Vik and the famous Game of Thrones black beach (and also close to the Vik black beach of course). We got to see an amazing clear sky and the Northern lights during the night as well as a wonderful view through our window in the morning. The studios were great, equipped with everything we needed to cook our own meals, and they have complimentary tea and coffee. Definitely recommend staying there!

Árbakki Farmhouse Lodge offers a hot spring bath and free private parking, and is within 18 km of Geysir and 28 km of Gullfoss Waterfall. Featuring a shared kitchen, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. Guests can make use of the sun terrace or the children's playground, or enjoy views of the mountain and river. excellent place, beautiful, organized, clean and lovely owner

This farm property offers a restaurant, small bar area, lounge and terrace. Public area Wi-Fi and parking are free. Vík town centre is within 20 minutes’ drive, while Skógarfoss Waterfall is even closer. Beautiful rooms, very comfortable. Fantastic breakfast, and a good location if you're self driving around the south/golden circle. Very very good value for money, just a short trip out of Vik.
