The old Cottage was just what we like, very well equipped with everything you could need and very clean. There were also lovely fresh supplies, Bread, Eggs, Bacon fruit etc. left for us. Location was peaceful and in lovely surrounding areas. We only booked for two nights as we had just gone down for our Granddaughters Wedding which took place in a lovely village a short distance away, but we would have liked more time to explore the area.

Breakfast was exceptional and always provided more that could eat. Had an early morning start when leaving, 0500, with breakfast was being provided ready the night before so could leave on a full stomach.

The location is very good for exploring the countryside and pretty villages of Suffolk. The accommodation is private from the owners and it was spotlessly clean. We liked there was no breakfast provided as it meant an earlier start to the day. We took our own pastries and used the coffee facilities provided.

A brilliant holiday cottage for a couple. Large rooms and lots of period features while having modern facilities. Location on main street of Clare with easy parking are great.
Property was warm, welcoming, fantastic location for walking in to village to buy pastries for breakfast.
Owner checked in to make sure all was OK and then left us alone which we liked.
Plenty of information on places of interest to visit.
Most important to us it was dog friendly.
Beautiful setting in picturesque village with gorgeous pub just a few doors down! Perfect decor; classic meets funky with quality fabrics in gorgeous colours and homely touches in every room. Very comfortable beds, perfect set-up between lounge & dining space with well equipped kitchen. Great stuff!
Lovely place in a lovely village. The hotel staff were super friendly and accommodated our extremely late arrival due to a delayed flight with no hassle whatsoever. Would highly recommend.
Lovely setting, Long Melford is a wonderful place to visit, for sightseeing, rummaging through antique shops or sales and restaurants & pubs. A slice of Suffolk village life in all its glory.
Absolutely stunning converted Coach House in a beautiful location. Owners extremely helpful but unobtrusive. Will definitely return. One of the best holiday homes we've ever stayed in. Highly recommended.
