We loved the location, the attention to detail and all the little surprises that came with the hit like the toasted marshmallows and the prosecco hunt! The hoast was lovely when we saw him and so accommodating but we also felt like we had our own little private piece of heaven!

Such a pretty village and a pretty building, lots of space for parking, friendly staff. We didn't have breakfast but we did have dinner which was large portions and very tasty. The room had a lot of space, we booked a double and the mattress could do with a topper for a bit more comfort but it was ok. The bathroom was large and with a bath. The room looked onto a the main road with some traffic noise but this wasn't bothersome. A good value room in a lovely location and I would stay here again.
Property and location was lovely. The only downside was getting to the local village (Baston) on foot. No footpath on the main road. Stamford is a charming town for a visit.
Everything! The cottage was beautiful, the setting is amazing, there is a young orchard with free range chickens right outside your living room, we were even offered a couple of eggs for breakfast. The village is pretty. And they even threw on a bottle of prosecco, which they set up clues to find. Basically, amazing!!
The building was stunning in a lovely picturesque village. Location was great for our plans. The breakfast was a good price and tasted delicious, so much flavour!
There was nothing to dislike - everything was perfect! Extra touches really made our stay special, the staff are wonderful and informative and the hut itself it’s gorgeous. We could not believe how secluded and peaceful it felt, the village is so picturesque. Amenities are great, powerful shower and cosy log fires with a comfy king sized bed. Cannot wait to return. What a wonderful stay!
The property was excellent, very clean and comfortable and in a good location. The kitchen was very well equipped with a dishwasher and washing machine which would have been great for longer stays. The property is in the heart of the town close to shops and supermarkets. Great for site seeing in the town.
The town itself is close to Rutland water only 15 minutes drive away with all that has to offer, Nature reserve and water sports in the summer. There are other interesting villages and smaller towns nearby too.
Located in a quiet residential area with it’s own allocated parking space this holiday home more than met our expectations. It was beautifully clean and well presented throughout with everything provided for a comfortable stay.
