Sharon and Steve were perfect and friendly hosts, They provided us with free eggs, milk and beer - all produced on their farm. Sharon gave us a great tour and explained all the workings of a modern dairy farm - including feeding the new born calves and meeting the milking robots! Our girls aged 13 and 15 loved it.

The location was perfect for visiting my relatives. My Mum was a few minutes walk away and my sister is in Durham, so not far to drive and visit her. Co op and local shops/ take aways within walking distance. The accomodation was lovely, with a comfy bed and hot shower. Plenty of room for my dogs large travel bed too. Oven, fridge and microwave handy as we cooked a couple of times. There was also a hair dryer and ironing board. Nice sized towels for shower and hair too. Small garden area with automatic light and fence high enough to keep my greyhound in. Very nicely decorated too.
