One of the best I’ve seen in terms of completeness! - Great and spacious bathroom - Convenient location: close to Kirkwall, yet very quiet (detached house, from which you can see the sea). There’s also a deck around the house when the weather is warmer. - VERY accommodating host who goes above and beyond to ensure you have a great stay - she even bought one kitchen item that we thought could be useful on Easter Sunday (!). The chalet was bright and welcoming and very clean. It was good to be greeted by a member of staff the day after our arrival to make sure we were ok. We enjoyed the view of the Churchill barriers and Italian Chapel and being able to bird watch from the window. It is quite close to Kirkwall and we can recommend the ice-cream shop next to the cathedral! It's a good idea to book ferries for day trips to other islands before you begin your holiday as they get booked up very quickly.
