the bed was extremely comfortable and marcia supplied hypo allergenic bedding for our 2 night stay. the bathroom was spacious and provided everything we needed. the breakfast was excellent with lovely produce including freshly squeezed orange juice, fresh fruit salad and homemade bread and a full english. we had the sole use of a spacious lounge/dinner with a view out to the garden and tv, sky etc. which was unexpected but ideal as we could have a take away one night , marcia happily supplied tableware and condiments.

The Swan never fails to deliver. I have stayed many times in recent years, the food and service always are always good. I always get exactly what I expected for a reasonable price and will continue to use the Swan for any stays in the area.

This our 2nd stay at this property and it still has the wow factor as a location and the property was ideal for the 3 of us.
It had everything we needed for a base to explore Norfolk and we did not even get time to use the amazing gardens which this property has.
Lesley was a great host and she even saved the day when we left some items behind.

Myself & my wife have just returned from a peaceful weekend break at Sunset house, absolutely fabulous host & the loveliest hotel. We were made to feel so comfortable by Andrew on arrival, he was so accommodating & nothing was ever too much trouble!
Hotel was immaculate, & also in the perfect location too. Definitely one of the best stays & weekend breaks we’ve had in a long time.

Set in East Dereham, in a historic building, 29 km from Blickling Hall, Chestnut Lodge is a recently renovated holiday home with a garden and barbecue facilities.
The staff were fantastic, warm & friendly & very approachable. The rooms were very comfortable & easily accessible. The surrounding area is very tranquil & the nearby village is very welcoming. & as for the breakfast my wife, myself & my parents had the full English & we all commented it as up there with the best we’ve every had. 10-10 stay. I would highly recommend a stay.
