Lovely little place which was really peaceful. Everything was provided and the bed was so comfortable. Near the A1 but never heard anything when inside. Perfect stay which for the price was brilliant.

Absolutely amazing! Was so peaceful, and the views were beautiful! The bed was so comfortable! The owner even messaged earlier during the day with instructions and directions on how to get there! Will definitely be back again!

The room was fantastic for three nights, it had everything we needed, it was comfortable, quiet and the contained garden was perfect for our two dogs.
The staff are all lovely and can't do enough for you, great breakfast and fantastic pizza's!
The village is conveniently located to visit Cragside, Kielder forest and it's an hour's drive away from the coast.
The whole area is very good The lodge is very clean. There are some attractions very close to the lodge which we all enjoyed. I can recommend Amble Harbour village. We all enjoyed that. You get very large meals for you're money, which is good. Very friendly people wherever you go too. The hot tub is very good to relax in.

Can’t recommend this lovely pub and hotel more! We had many friends and family stay here in May as we were getting married in the church/hall in the village. The rooms were lovely, the setting is stunning, service was excellent! The food is fab - we’d highly recommend Sunday lunch!!
Everything!! The lodge is very spacious comfortable and super clean. Every utensil and home comfort has been given serious thought. Fire stick in EVERY TV is genius! Your holiday home is truly ‘a home’. Can’t wait to come back in August.
