This was an experience so different from any other we have had while on vacation. We relished the silence, with no sounds other than those from nature. Edward, Hester, and their daughters were very welcoming and they gave us wonderful suggestions for places to go during the day and where to eat in the evening. We had a lovely cup of tea and brownies upon arrival, overlooking the hillside. The home is truly lovely, beds were comfortable, and breakfast was gourmet!

Large sized room. Character of the building. Generous breakfast size. A complimentary night time tipple is a nice touch. The inn appears to be the heart of the community - it appeared busy at the bar and in the restaurant, it contains a community shop and is the location of the village post office. Plenty of on-site parking.

Great views on the golf course. Good food (dinner and breakfast), nice looking shared facilities (restaurant, lobby) and atmosphere. The mini-suite worked rather well for 2 adults with 2 young kids, very handy to have a kitchenette and more space. Good location close to many of the pretty villages of the Cotswolds.
