The satnav took us straight to this exceptional farmhouse b and b where we received a warm welcome from our hosts. Our room was one of the best we have stayed in. A large king sized bed, the most wonderful bathroom with his and her basins and a large seating area complete with binoculars to watch the local birds.
The breakfast was served in a conservatory overlooking fields and the Pennines.

Excellent location, which was extremely peaceful, and with an easy and pleasant walk (along the canal) into town. The accommodation was very clean, spacious and comfortable, with everything we needed. Convenient parking too, directly outside the property. The hosts were friendly and welcoming, and ready to answer any questions we had about the area.

Beautiful.location in a market village on the edge of the Yorkshire Dale's and Forest of Bowland. Lovely busy little working village with pubs, cafes, takeaways, supermarkets and other shops and the local sheep market bustling with farmers. .Lovely views and nice local walks and just 5 minutes from Ingleton and the national park. Perfect base for walking the 3 peaks and more. Lovely accomodation , very clean comfortable house with off road parking, great value for money. Definitely would go back again.
Location and excellent accommodation. We stayed overnight on route to Scotland. Excellent location not far from the motorway. Fairly easy to find. Enclosed garden which was perfect for the doggies. The large village is a 15-25 minute walk on route to the pub there is a premier shop and next door Fish & Chip/Chinese. We carried on and went to the Greyhound pub. Recommend pre booking. Very busy but worth the wait. Steady walk with a couple of little hills on the way back. We did it with two dogs and a pushchair.
Extremely comfortable cottage, everything you need and more. Bed was very comfy. The surrounding village has everything you'd require in terms of shops, pubs, places for food. Also has a variety of lovely walks nearby
Had everything we needed in the Pod. Access was easy following the instructions provided, although the code for the key box had been set up incorrectly, but we worked it out. Well maintained site.
Walking distance to the Longlands Inn which served great food. Walked past the Greenlands Farm Village which had loads of activities, but we were only there for 2 nights for a wedding on the Saturday so didn't get to see much of the area. Convenient for Lancaster and the M6.
We have just returned from a brilliant weekend staying in the house.. 5 adults & 4 children.. had a great time .. house comfortable.. modern .. spotless.. the garden area is great and safe for the children to play .. hot tub was very enjoyable.. kids especially loved it ..

Lovely quiet rural location just outside a small village, but very handily placed for the M6. Conveniently placed for the Lakes and the Howgills. Lovely house set in a very large garden. Room very comfortable. Simple, but very good breakfast. Lovely hosts - thank you!
Beautifully cosy cottage, a definite home from home. Exceptionally clean, warm and welcoming. The welcome basket and fresh milk in the fridge were a nice touch as was the card from the owners. It is clear a lot of thought and effort was given by the owners in preparing the cottage. The location itself in Bentham works very well. The village has plenty of amenities and is an ideal base for exploring the beautiful surrounding area. I would highly recommend and will book again when visiting the region.
we really loved the modern and comfortable environment of the holiday home. The holiday home provided excellent cooking facilities which enabled us to eat in. The accommodation was situated in a beautiful and quiet area of Lancaster. We were able to walk into the city centre along the canal which took only 20 minutes. The place was very clean and we slept well in the cosy bedroom. The owners were really friendly and helped solve any queries we had effectively and efficiently. We can’t wait until we go back.
